Site visit with Allied Arborcraft

by Jean

Each week we visit a member of Sweeten network to check out what they are working on. We’re were back in Gramercy this week; this time we are with Gregg Resnick of  Allied Arborcraft. Just like last week’s project these homeowners purchased an adjacent 1 bedroom to combine it with their existing apartment. Gregg and his team have actually renovated four apartments in this building and we were able to chat with three of Gregg’s very happy clients. In addition to seeing the new master suite and apartment layout that we came to see, we got a bonus!  Laura, an interior designer who used Allied Arborcraft to redo her bathroom even let us take a quick peek at her finished space.

This is the new bathroom in the master suite. Will is applying a combination of waterproofing solution and tape as a barrier to protect against moisture.

Liquid-rubber waterproofing membrane.

A sample of the new glue-down floor that will be installed throughout  the apartments.

Buckets, buckets and more buckets of glue for the floor.

Job site notes.

Rough plumbing for a poured-in-place concrete double sink in the guest bathroom.

Greg and ‘Chief’ standing in the new hallway, reviewing the emails of the day.

Blue tape on the kitchen ceiling to protect the existing track lighting fixture.
