Site visit w/ Interior Bliss Design :: First Look

by Shera Nuss

Each week we visit a member of Sweeten network to check out what they are working on. We’re excited this week to try out something special; thanks to the wonderful folks at Interior Bliss Design, we’ll be dishing up their recent Hell’s Kitchen renovation in a couple phases, starting with this first look into the project’s construction.  This 800 sqft duplex has undergone quite a makeover including the transformation of a once-modest closet & master bathroom, as well as a newly exposed brick interior wall, and some awesome custom-built surprises.

Upon arrival for my first visit with Interior Bliss Design I was greeted by the hardworking duo, Spencer & Darren.

Here lay the remnants of an old closet…

Beginnings of a new closet! The guys brought out the existing wall several feet to enclose a walk-in closet & an expansion of the adjacent bathroom.

The soundtrack to every good renovation : moldings cut by miter saw!

Downstairs, the guys tore down sheet rock to expose 2 beautiful brick walls.

They also made a few discoveries along the way, including the remnants of a fireplace.

I was most shocked by this wall-mounted television, but was assured that it’s “state of the art.”

Until next week…
