Renovate My Kitchen In Clinton HillPosted by Melissa F. in Clinton Hill
Looking to update and renovate kitchen in Clinton Hill Coops to brighten up space. Would also like to open up the room by knocking down drywall between kitchen and living room/dining room,
Design and Build
Very basic budget renovation done by coop when I purchased in 2004. Space needs to be redesigned to brighten and update and make better use of space
Scope of work
Knock down dry wall between kitchen and living and dining rooms. Replace all cabinets and fridge, sink, stove, dishwasher and kitchen floor. Build island with storage and dining bar
Nick and I met several times at his current remodel sites between signing up. Very knowledgeable about the my building and the coop process (Clinton Hill coops) which sped things up. Provided detailed breakdown of the job and stuck to it. Timing estimates were accurate and end result fantastic
see above. I needed to move out the island about 1.5 inches at the end of the job and they were able to do that as well as work with a column of shelving that was added to a support column.
For a first time homeowner and renovated, having a detailed breakdown of the renovation by cost and time frame was great for managing my own schedule (I asked to live in the back of the apartment once the initial demo was completed). Like any renovation there were hiccups (like the late and incomplete cabinet delivery) and Nick's team was able to work around these.
