My Cypress Hills Partial Kitchen RenoPosted by Rosalind W. in East New York
I purchased the home 1 year ago and would like to incorporate my style in the kitchen.
***Appliances are all new and will not need to be replaced.
TBD: Perhaps a new kitchen layout?
Design and Build
Not my style
Has been updated but not my taste
Scope of work
New cabinets island, countertops, back splash, flooring and lighting.
In addition, I would like to renovate a small mud room off from the kitchen that leads to the backyard - in there I would like to
- install light, electrical outlets, ceiling heat fan,
- TBD: possibly expand the space?
At the risk of sounding cliché I have to say that my experience with Eli and the rest of his crew was wonderful. There was not one negative aspect. Eli was professional, punctual. He was extremely patient with me as I mulled over some decisions and provided me with valid information to assist me in making my decision.
The workers were kind and professional. They worked diligently and the result was flawless work. They closed off the area to bring the dust associated with a renovation job to a minimum. There was an impeccable end of the work day clean-up process that was impressive.
There was an unexpected challenge associated with the installation of an exterior door. The door was slightly longer than needed and would have likely resulted in the need for a custom door to be installed. They took on the challenge of shortening the metal door to fit the space to assist me in the cost associated with a custom door. You cannot tell that the door adjusted. Wonderful workmanship.
