Renovate My Decrepit Kitchen In Prospect HeightsPosted by Matthew S. in Prospect Heights
We're ready to replace our early 80s long, skinny kitchen with ancient cabinets, half-broken stove and chipped painted countertop. We have a brand new fridge, but everything else must go!
A little worn; Functional but...; Outdated
Old and yucky!
Scope of work
1. Remove cabinets, stove
2. Tear out floors and replace tile floor with wood flooring, may need to replace underlayment
3. Plumbing for dishwasher
4. Replace drywall behind lower cabinets
5. Install new cabinets, sink etc.
6. Install new dishwasher and new stove
7. New tile backsplash
We are so, so happy with our new kitchen! Working with Darwin and his team was fantastic. They did a great job translating our dream into reality, and were just incredibly nice to boot. I would highly recommend them.
I really appreciated the great communication and professionalism. And the design turned out better than I could have hoped!
They were quick to fix the little things that came up, going above and beyond, including trekking out to Bensonhurst to pick up a couple extra tiles after we didn't buy enough and coming back after the project was completed to install a microwave after we ordered the wrong size.
