Daniel worked with us on a full update of the kitchen (floors, cabinets, counters, appliances, backsplash) as well as a major refresh of our duplex apartment which had not been touched in twenty years. We replaced all the floors, doors, painted everything, redid lighting, furniture set up, selection of new furniture. While the projects sound simple, Daniel's attention to detail and reworking and refining of finishes and extra touches as we worked through the project created something special. Redesign and renovation of the our offices. The new layout and design has created better flow and a more harmonious environment. I would describe the process of collaboration with them as effective and creative. Above all, I would like to mention that the project coordination and bidding were very efficient. The team is always very professional and good nature. Read Marc's reference
I liked the Team. There always seemed to be someone who could do the specific job and often that someone contributed ideas and skills that made for a better result than anticipated. My first experience with them was a basic renovation of a one-bedroom garden apartment that had to be completed in a very short time. The deadline - which often seemed impossible - was met and I was very happy with the result. Read Ann's reference
I've worked with Daniel on four separate projects. The largest involved a complete renovation of a public space for a non-profit. The design allowed contiguous space to be used as three separate areas: sitting, kitchen/bath, as well as extra office space. It works beautifully. Previously underused and, frankly, unusable space, was transformed into a productive social space that has become a central gathering place. The next largest was a gut renovation of a kitchen and bathroom of a private residence. From first consultation the end of the project, they remained attentive and present. The budget for the job was not huge but Daniel was able to work with it and come up solutions that were attractive and highly functional. Somehow they managed to create more space in the kitchen without moving a wall! For the other two jobs Daniel served as consultants. Their hourly fee was reasonable and all of their suggestions were gratefully included. Read Kirk's reference
