Olga is extremely patient and dedicated, not to mention a wonderful person. She listened to and accommodated my opinions, but was also honest enough to (in retrospect) save me from some mistakes. She has a great design sense. Olga is also a master problem solver. She can figure out a solution to any problem. Any issue my contractor threw her way she would always work with him to find a solution – nothing rattled her. Olga was also incredibly generous with her time. Phone calls, emails, site visits, she really went above and beyond. Read Erica's testimonial
We worked with Olga from September 2014-January 2015. We embarked on a major renovation after purchasing a two-bedroom co-op on the UWS of Manhattan. After sifting through many options of architects from Sweeten.com, we chose Olga. Our decision was a function of her portfolio, including the clean lines demonstrated in it, her clear interest in the job and our opinions and finally, in her rate. She includes both the filing of permits along with her designs in her rate. Olga is an amazing architect. If we do further renovations here or in another apartment, we would hire her for her insight and innovative use of space. Read Neha's reference
We had a gut down renovation of a two-level 2000 sqf Tribeca loft (approximately 350K investment). We completely changed the layout of the apartment, moved the kitchen, added one bedroom and remodeled two baths. We installed a designer kitchen. Despite having a designer provided by the firm, she was intimately involved with the kitchen design as well (which turned out to be really important at the end). The new layout of the apartment, which she designed, is outstanding. Our loft was originally a one bedroom open loft. We wanted to add another bedroom and yet preserve the openness of the space. The layout she came up with completely met our expectations; actually, our “new” apartment feels more spacious than the “old” one. Furthermore, she was extremely helpful in choosing the contractor, getting an accurate price quote, supervising the work and managing the relationship. She was an incredible source in selecting the right materials, hardware and appliances. Read Sadatu's reference
oversee the renovations for my new apartment. Last year I purchased a prewar apartment that needed extensive renovations (replacement of floor and subfloor, electrical rewiring, changing position of 2 walls, reversing locations of bathroom and kitchen, as well as painting, tiling and installation of built in cabinets and shelving. She drew plans for the renovations and helped me to choose a contractor. We went over the plans together and she was very responsive to my concerns and requests for small changes. She also worked with me on the selection of bathroom and lighting fixtures, tiles, kitchen cabinets and appliances, floor boards etc.. In short she contributed to every step of the process and took every detail seriously. Read Madeleine's reference
