Home School Contest #3:
While paint comes to mind as the easiest way to change the mood of a room, wallpaper can offer an even more dramatic facelift, and it need not be as intimidating as it seems. For the third installment in our Home School series, Brooklyn Based and Sweeten.com are pairing up to offer one lucky winner free installation of wallpaper from Brooklyn’s Flavor Paper, whose hand-screened paper has been installed in Lenny Kravitz’s homes, Steve Madden stores globally, Bowlmor in Times Square, and many more venues, boutiques and homes around the world.
If you win, you’ll get an accent wall in your home wallpapered by professional hanger Jeff Strumeyer of J Marc Enterprise, using a one-color hand-screened paper, that you select from Flavor Paper’s funky collection.
The contest is open to anyone in Brooklyn and Manhattan. To enter, fill out the details below, and describe the current situation and the dimensions of the area that you’d like to install the wallpaper, along with the style of Flavor Paper you would choose for your home. (Max Size 100 square feet, or 3 rolls of one color, hand-screened paper, not digital.) Then if possible, upload a photo of the space and an inspiration photo, which you can borrow from the Flavor Paper site. We’ll be selecting the entry with the most likes on Facebook, so photos help!
The contest, produced by Brooklyn Based and Sweeten, ends August 2, 2011, and is open only to Brooklyn Based subscribers. (Past Home School winners are no longer eligible to win.) By entering you’ll be automatically signed up if you’re not already. The contestant with the most Facebook ‘likes’ will be our winner and will arrange for their wallpaper to be hung within 30 days of winning.
